Located just 5 miles from Texas RV Park, the Kemah Boardwalk is home to fabulous waterfront restaurants, amusements, charming retail stores, festivals and seaside shows every day. Seabrook Trails

The Seabrook Hike and Bike Trail System located 15 minutes from Texas RV Park. The trails system is one of the most popular systems in the Greater Houston Area. The hike and bike trails interconnect Seabrook parks with just over ten miles of trails.

Walkers, runners and bikers enjoy the beautiful landscape and will see a variety of wildlife including birds, butterflies, turtles, white-tailed deer and, on occasion, even a bottle-nosed dolphin at Pine Gully Park. Average temperatures range from 62 to 92 degrees in Seabrook making the trails popular year round; in fact, the trails are amazing during the fall and spring.

Space Center Houston at The Johnson Space Center

Space Center Houston located 25 minutes from Texas RV Park. The center features more than 400 space artifacts, permanent and traveling exhibits, attractions and theaters related to the exciting future and remarkable past of America’s human space-flight program – all for one admission price. The experience is designed to engage adults and children alike.

There is always something new at Space Center Houston with an amazing array of traveling exhibits and astounding events. Space Center Houston has the world’s largest collection of moon rocks and lunar samples for view.

Historic Galveston Island is only 30 minutes from our conveniently located Texas RV Park. Galveston Island sings the siren song of breaking waves, which draws visitors to Galveston’s beaches generation after generation. Warm breezes and year-round temperate seas complement the city’s rich historic districts, award-winning restaurants, unique attractions and bustling shops.

At 32 miles long and 2 1/2 miles wide, the Island is surrounded with incredible history and unique beauty. The Playground of the South, the Island offers: beaches, to historic architecture, outdoor adventure, shopping, dining and cruising.

Featuring waterfront fun and entertainment like no other Gulf Coast destination, the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier features family-oriented attractions including rides, midway games, a wide selection of food, venues and retail shops. Ride hours are seasonal and are subject to change without notice.

The Pleasure Pier is located on Galveston Island at 25th & Seawall Blvd. You can take I-45 South until it turns into Broadway Ave. Continue on Broadway, and turn right on 25th Street. The Pier is straight ahead!

Moody Gardens

Hold on to every moment at Schlitterbahn Galveston, located 35 minutes from Texas RV Park. Enjoy more than 35 thrilling water adventures that provide a variety of entertainment for everyone! Float in tubes through Schliterbauhn’s transportainment River System that combines three unique rivers into one endless float. Experience the thrills of their speed slides, tube slides and the Boogie Bahn surf ride.

Battleship Texas

Welcome Aboard! Battleship Texas took part in some of the most significant naval battles of the 20th century during both world wars. Now docked along the Houston Ship Channel, she serves as a memorial to those turbulent times. Come walk her decks, and imagine life as a sailor! Things to Do Explore the battleship on your own or on a guided tour.

Picnic nearby at San Jacinto Battleground. You will find picnic tables, grills and water faucets in the park. Rent the picnic pavilion overlooking Buffalo Bayou for your group gathering. Hold your next meeting in the ship’s conference room.

San Jacinto Museum of History

Come immerse yourself in all that makes the Lone Star great. From rich displays of armaments and uniforms to an exciting retelling of the road to Texas freedom — and beyond, the San Jacinto Museum of History brings history to life in a way your whole family can enjoy. With continued support, the San Jacinto Museum of History Association has occupied the facility since its doors first opened. From Mayan idols to Mexican manuscripts to Sam Houston's private dictionary - the museum has over 30,000 artifacts and displays them in both a permanent exhibit and rotating special exhibits.
